Internet Marketing Blog WordPress Themes!
We have been working on getting our Internet Marketing Blog. By now you should have a Domain Name, Webhosting, and wordpress installed for your Internet Marketing Blog. The good thing about WordPress is there is a lot of different themes available for your Marketing blog. One of the themes I like to use is called Weaver. Here is how to switch you WordPress theme.
Updating WordPress On Your Internet Marketing Blog!
Open your Internet Marketing Blog admin section by opening your browser and logging in. Hopefully you bookmarked your admin login page. If you did not bookmark your admin you can go to http://yourdomain.com/wp-login.php to login. Put your domain name in place of “your domain” like tomsmlmsecrets. Your Internet Marketing Blog should open to the admin page in the dashboard. Look to see if it says you have any updates. If there is, click on the updates link under dashboard. If there is a WordPress update clicking on install automatically is the simplest way to update your Internet Marketing Blog. Click on update again and install any other updates.
Changing Your Internet Marketing Blog WordPress Theme!
Now that WordPress is up-to-date, go to the DashBoard, scroll down to Appearances, click the drop down arrow, click on Themes. In the window that opens on your Internet Marketing Blog, click on Install Themes at the top. In the search box type in Weaver and click search. Weaver is a good WordPress theme to us to start your Internet Marketing Blog. It is very customizable and has many sub-themes. You want to use Weaver not Weaver 2010. Click on install and follow the directions. Once it installs you have to click on activate and your new WordPress theme is installed on your Internet Marketing Blog.
In the upper left above the Dashboard link is the name of your site. If you right click on your site name, you can click on open in new tab or window to view what your Internet Marketing Blog looks like. In the next video we will do a blog post and make some adjustment.
